Whom do I turn to for legal advice?

  1. Each state and territory has various government organisations, whom you can refer to, to find more information about the local and federal regulations and laws. Fair Trading NSW https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/ is one of them. 
  2. Obviously, you can consult a lawyer.
  3. Some (or maybe all) states and territories have government organisations, who provide free legal advice. In NSW, they are called Legal Aid NSW: https://www.legalaid.nsw.gov.au/.
