الطالب الذي حصل على الشهادة الثانوية من خارج أستراليا وعنده PR، تتم معاملته على أنه:

1. Domestic student from paperwork point of view

2. But, he is NOT eligible for HELP/HECS unless he/she has Australian citizenship. PR students might be eligible for CSP  (https://www.studyassist.gov.au/financial-and-study-support/commonwealth-supported-places-csps) 

3. International student from academic evaluation point of view

وما أقصده من النقطة الأخيرة هو أنه عند بحثك في مواقع الجامعات أو عند الاتصال بهم، فعليك مراجعة الصفحات الخاصة ب International students. وذلك لأن مؤهلاته الأكاديمية لا تخضع للمعيار الأسترالي ATAR. ويحتاج لمعادلة المعيار الذي حصل عليه مثل IGCSE, SAT, IB إلى ATAR.

Students having a PR (Permanent Residency) in Australia but had their high school studies outside Australia are considered:
