Personal experience:

IELTS : totally human judgement whereas PTE pure computerised scoring.

While IELTS score comes out after 2 weeks , PTE score is released after 3 days . In rare cases it might be delayed a bit. 

Your studying of IELTS is of great benefit for PTE exam . 

I already went through PTE with IETLS studies and alhamdulillah scored higher than I got in IELTS.

In my humble opinion; sitting for PTE is much easier than that of IELTS.
