In my experience (working in 2 of the 3 largest communication companies and one of the largest 4 banks - over 12 years), masters and PhD have very little value in getting you a job or getting you a higher salary. To the opposite, it can make you overqualified.

It is quite common in this country for people to start their careers with vocational (مهني) qualifications, and climb the career ladder.

Masters and PhD might help you if you plan to go back to the middle east.
